Entrance to the Penthouse is from the ground level. The Penthouse has a spacious bright open plan living, dining, kitchen area lit by 4 windows on 3 sides. All the windows have shutters. Between the Double bedroom with QUEEN size bed and the kitchen area is a bathroom with a shower enclosure.

The jewel of the Penthouse is the 10 metre long balcony which is loved for watching the famous sunsets and the surfing beach which was a venue for the 2001 World Surfing Championships.

The bedroom has ocean and mountain views.

Deposit: a deposit of 30% of the total rental price must be made within 5 days to secure a booking and the balance must be paid 6 weeks before check-in at the accommodation.

Bookings made within less than 6 weeks of check-in: when a booking is made within less than 6 weeks before check-in, the total payment is required within 5 days and it is non-refundable.

Payment is in EUROS by bank to bank transfer to a Portuguese account.
Communication of cancellation: clients wishing to cancel must communicate this in writing immediately to the managers of the property.

'NEW' WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS & Hire Car or not?: 'NEW' WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS is now available. HIRE CAR OR NOT? We recommend a hire car and to collect when you arrive at the airport. But, some of our clients do not want a hire-car for the whole holiday or to drive. One solution is we can pick 3 people up at the airport and return clients to the airport for 30 euros each journey. Also, we can offer lifts to some of the attractions including white sand beaches at Calheta and other places such as the start of walks for a reasonable fee per kilometre.

THINGS TO DO IN AND NEAR PAUL DO MAR: The village has a small supermarket, shops, a Catholic Church, a bank with a cash machine, medical centre, bars/cafes & restaurants. Popular activities in & around the village are: LEVADA AND COASTAL WALKS, fishing, swimming, snorkelling & surfing. 'Paul' is quite flat for Madeira, which is generally hilly & mountainous so it’s easy to walk around, roller-skate & cycle. There are many ‘festas’ (festivals) & the streets are alive with different languages as the locals who work abroad return home for a well-earnt holiday with family and friends! SWIMMING is easy from certain points including the lagoon next to the harbour.

In Calheta town (10 minutes drive away) is a marina where dolphin-watching, whale-watching and big game fishing boats operate from, white sand beaches, an international art centre 'Casas das Mudas' which stages performances and exhibitions and small shopping centres and a supermarket. From Ribeira Brava there's easy access to the North.
